Essential Worker Living


Essential Worker Living is a housing program that was created to help people who work to provide critical services find housing near the neighborhoods in which they work. To determine if you are an Essential Worker, you must qualify under specific income guidelines. Please review the checklist below to apply.

Application Requirements
Application Fee: $50
Admin Fee: $150

Income Verifications:
  • Four weeks of most recent consecutive paycheck stubs.
  • First pay stub of the year when GROSS and YTD amounts are the same.
  • Last two (2) years of tax transcripts from irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript - for self-employed
  • Profit and loss statement for newly self-employed
  • Current statement of retirement or pension plan
Income Requirements:
  • Minimum Income Gross income to qualify is at least 2.5 times the amount of the monthly net rent. Maximum Income to qualify is $80,480.
Please be aware that all income (overtime, raises, bonuses, incentives, stipends, etc.) counts toward your total household income*
